O present perfect é um tempo parecido com algo que temos no português, mas que usamos de forma diferente. O present perfect é usado para falar de experiências e/ou duração das ações, sem focar exatamente em quando elas aconteceram.
Ex: I have been to Rio twice. (Eu estive no Rio duas vezes.)
O verbo auxiliar do present perfect é o have, e o verbo principal vem na forma do participle (no exemplo, o verbo been).
Portanto, as formas do present perfect são:
+ : I have been to Rio. - : I haven't been to Rio. ? : Have you been to Rio?
Outros exemplos: + : I have eaten all the cake. + : She has worked for four hours. - : You haven't finished your homework yet. - : He hasn't done his activities. ? : Have you ever seen the rain? ? : Has she travelled abroad?
