You should read this book

it's a good theather, written by  Alfred de Musset.

It's speaks about Lorenzo,a young  idealist .He wants to overthrow his cousin Alexander de Medici, who reigns as a tyrant over Florence, and to promote the restoration of the republic. In order to be closer to Alexander, Lorenzo became a debauchee.  It's a perfect romantic drama  and an exciting text, very well written. A classic.
