Pela relação fundamental, temos que
sen²α + cos²α = 1 ⇔ sen² α = 1 - 25/169 ⇔ sen² α = 144/169 ⇔ sen α = 12/13
Além disso, tgα = senα/cosα = (12/13)/(5/13) = 12/5.
